FAQ
Shower Filter Questions
My water still feels like hard water when I installed the filter. Is it working?
It's important to note that shower filters are not water softeners. Our products are designed to filter out harmful chemicals, but they are not designed to provide a softened water experience.
Is there a significant difference between these two shower filters?
The Etovfzfd shower filter primarily filters chlorine, while the Ultimate Dual KDF filter filters out more harmful substances (see product description on our website). The Dual KDF filter filters harmful chemicals (chloramines, chlorine, fluoride, iron, lead, heavy metals, bacteria, volatile organic compounds, chemicals, lime, and calcium) from tap water. Additionally, the Dual KDF filter reduces odors, organic waste, trihalomethanes, bacteria, and common carcinogens such as carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, benzene, and vinylidene chloride.
My existing shower head is different from the one you sell. Which connection is right for me? The Dual KDF shower filter has both internal (inlet) and external (outlet) threads; therefore, as long as your existing shower head has standard internal threads, it should be compatible. Please note that the Ultimate Dual KDF is not compatible with Moen shower heads.
We bought our shower filter less than a year ago, and it's broken. What happened?
This can happen for a variety of reasons. For example, the number of people in your home, the number of showers you take per week, and the chlorine content in your area's tap water can all affect the lifespan of your shower filter. Etovfzfd shower filters have a lifespan of 6 to 8 months, while Ultimate Dual KDF shower filters typically last from 8 months to a year. Excessive chlorine content can cause the filter to age faster, even exceeding a year, but this also depends on how often you shower; showering uses approximately 2.5 gallons of water per minute. These products aren't one-size-fits-all; some may require more frequent filter replacements than others.
